Fairfield business owner sends supplies to GA after deadly tornadoes

A Fairfield business owner who grew up in Georgia is raising money to send supplies to people devastated by the recent deadly tornadoes in her home state.

Gabrielle Fludd, owner of Gumdrop Swap, grew up in Albany, Georgia, and now lives in Bridgeport, where her business is located.

She says she was moved to do something after seeing pictures of the devastation in her hometown.

"I just know what it's like for one day everything to be like normal, going OK, and then the next day everything is just upside-down," says Fludd.

Fludd has been collecting items like kids' clothing, baby blankets, toys and diapers to send to those impacted in southwest and southcentral Georgia.

She is now reaching out to the community and asking for help with the cost of sending the donations.
