Norwalk to crack down on distracted drivers

Norwalk city officials are going to start cracking down on speeding and distracting drivers.
Mayor Dick Moccia and Police Chief Harry Rilling say starting Tuesday, officers will be targeting drivers going too fast and those who may be distracted behind the wheel.
The chief says that kind of behavior makes up for most of the accidents in the city.
Extra officers will be on duty Tuesday and Wednesday and funding from grants will cover their pay.
