Hot spell cooks restaurant kitchens

As temperatures sizzle outside, employees at local food establishments say it?s even hotter in the kitchen.

One worker at Overton's in Norwalk noted that if it's between 80 and 90 degrees outside, the temperature in the kitchen is going to be between 120 and 125 degrees.

Restaurants employees are advised to drink lots of water, use fans, take frequent breaks and stay calm when temperatures soar.
