Westport resident convicted in Goldman Sachs trial
A jury has convicted a Westport resident and former Goldman Sachs board member of conspiracy and fraud on Wall Street.
Rajat Gupta was found guilty of conspiracy and three counts of securities fraud on Friday.
Gupta was accused of leaking information to his friend, billionaire hedge fund manager Raj Rajaratnam of Greenwich.
Rajaratnam was convicted of inside trading last year and was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
