Family and friends bid farewell today to a 10-year-old girl who drowned in Lake Mohegan in Fairfield last week. Nearly 300 people came to the funeral for Catherine Celina Perez Trujillo at St. Peter's Church in Bridgeport. Trujillo was swimming in the lake on Tuesday when she drowned. Family members say the community has been extremely supportive and that more than $15,000 was donated to cover funeral expenses.
