Family and friends gathered tonight to say farewell to drowning victim Catherine Celina Perez Trujillo at Luz de Paz funeral home in Bridgeport. A wake was held for the 10-year-old girl earlier tonight.

Hundreds attend wake for young drowning victim
Family and friends gathered tonight to say farewell to drowning victim Catherine Celina Perez Trujillo at Luz de Paz funeral home in Bridgeport.
A wake was held for the 10-year-old girl earlier tonight. She drowned in Lake Mohegan on Tuesday.
Luz de Paz funeral home said it was expecting its biggest turnout ever for a child.
Funeral home worker Edgar Rodriguez says he has received more than $7,500 in donations to be given to the family, along with a lavish urn to hold the child's ashes.
A funeral will be held at St. Peters Church in Bridgeport tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.
