Fairfield driver scrambled by egg-tossing vandals

Fairfield police are searching for five men who allegedly threw eggs at a passing car, injuring the driver. Authorities say the incident happened Wednesday morning when Jason Wojnarski was hit on South Benson Road. They say the suspects, in a silver Jeep Wrangler, drove by and tossed the eggs. Wojnarski says the eggshells scratched his arm and removed some of the paint from his car. He also recalls seeing the suspects earlier in the day at Penfield Beach. Anyone with information is urged to call Fairfield police at 203-254-4800.
