New Britain police warn parents about 'stranger danger'
New Britain police are urging parents to warn their kids about strangers after an attempted abduction was caught on camera. Authorities say an 11-year-old girl was walking to camp when an older man pulled up beside her in a grey van. The video then shows the child running away. She arrived home safely and apparently informed her mother about what had happened. Fairfield police are offering a special program this summer, teaching children about how to best handle the "stranger danger."
