Arrest made in Norwalk murder

Norwalk police say a man is in custody in connection to a murder.

Pernell McBride, 44, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in New York City yesterday and charged with killing 35-year-old John Alston.

Alston was shot in the abdomen last Wednesday during an argument outside a home on South Main Street.

Officers say the public helped them solve the case.
