Police search for group that beat man in Stamford

Police are searching for the people responsible for a brutal, early morning beating in Stamford.
Officials say the incident began when a group of six men followed a couple to the corner of Greyrock Place and Broad Street at around 2 a.m.
Police say the six men beat the male victim until he was almost unconscious.
The victim allegedly managed to pull out his gun and fired until it was empty, hitting two of his attackers.
Officers say both the victim and the two attackers who were shot are expected to be OK.
