An Easton man whose home burned down in May is now facing criminal charges. Police say 64-year-old Sanford Cooper had a huge quantity of fireworks illegally stored in the garage of his Judd Road home.

Easton man whose home burned facing criminal charges
An Easton man whose home burned down in May is now facing criminal charges.
Police say 64-year-old Sanford Cooper had a huge quantity of fireworks illegally stored in the garage of his Judd Road home. According to police, Cooper was the person who called 911 when the fire broke out.
Cooper was charged with reckless endangerment, illegal possession of fireworks and illegal possession of explosives. Police say he was released on a promise to appear in court next month.
