New Haven organization educates CT residents on exploited children

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children says more than 100,000 American children are illegally trafficked each year.
The non-profit organization, LOVE 146 in New Haven, says it has been working to stop that by educating the southwestern Connecticut community about the issue.
The LOVE 146 team says the average sex slave youth victim is 13 years old, and there are millions of victims worldwide.
LOVE 146 is reaching out to the community for support with their 10th anniversary fundraising event being held on Thursday in New York City.
