Stamford mayor: Police Chief Nivakoff to retire
Stamford Mayor Michael Pavia says the city's Police Chief Robert Nivakoff will retire. Nivakoff, who took over as chief in 2010, will be leaving by the end of the month. Assistant Chief Jon Fontneau will take over as interim chief until a replacement is found.
