Police: Burglar strikes Stamford seafood restaurant

Stamford police say a burglar broke into a local restaurant this morning and pried open an ATM, making off with the cash inside.

Authorities say the thief broke into the Crab Shell on Southfield Avenue. The business has been the target of thieves twice before in recent years.

Officials believe the crime was the work of a skilled thief.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Stamford police at 203-977-4417.
