Increased attempts of suicide have police, prevention teams worried
Increasing numbers of attempted suicides have local police and state suicide prevention teams alarmed tonight.
Stamford police say that, in the last week alone, there were five suicide attempts in the city.
Doctors say there are usually warning signs before a tragedy and to listen and watch closely. A common sign, doctors say, is when someone says they are not feeling well and begins to give away all of their possessions.
Police say if you begin to see any of these warning signs to reach out for help.
