AARP volunteers work at Stamford food bank
More than 20 volunteers from the AARP gave their time at the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County in Stamford today. The volunteers stocked shelves, checked expiration dates and did other tasks at the warehouse on Glenbrook Road. Food bank officials tell News 12 Connecticut that there is a major fundraiser on Oct. 3 at the Stamford Yacht Club.
