Bridgeport man critical after being shot in the face

Authorities in Bridgeport are investigating a possible botched drug deal after a man was shot in the face over the weekend. Investigators say Voiese Pinn, 40, was in the driver's seat of a Chevy Avalanche on Bishop Avenue when someone shot him in broad daylight Saturday afternoon. The son of the victim's girlfriend, who was also in the vehicle at the time, was uninjured.
Pinn was taken to Bridgeport Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Hospital officials say he lost consciousness in the ambulance and, as of mid-day today, had not woken up. Police say they found a bag of marijuana several feet away from the SUV. It is not yet clear whether the marijuana on the scene is incidental or an indication of a drug deal. Authorities are still searching for a suspect.Police: Man shot in the face in Bridgeport
