Darien residents fed up with flooding
Residents on Intervale Road in Darien are thankful that today's severe weather moved through relatively quickly.
Residents say construction several years ago now causes the storm drains to back up when too much rain falls in too short a time.
One resident prepared for today's storms by using sandbags in front of his driveway.
First Selectman Jayme Stevenson blames the aging infrastructure. She says it could be a couple of years before the problem is fixed.
