Aquarion Water Company is warning customers in Darien they may notice murky water for the next few weeks.
Aquarion began a six week project to clean water mains last night.
The company says the cleaning operation will be done from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Oct. 12.
During this time, Aquarion recommends stocking up on bottled water and says do not wash clothes until the water runs clear.
