Stamford police trying to track down burglary ring

Stamford police are searching for up to four suspects linked to a series of business robberies over the past six weeks. Authorities say five of the robberies took place on Cove Road, with the latest happening at Fairlawn Card and Variety on East Main Street. Nadeem Chaudhry, an employee at the store, says the mask-wearing suspects stole about $2,000 and ran off through the back door last Saturday. Investigators say four businesses have been robbed in total, all of which have been located on the east side of the city. Detectives say they do not have any surveillance video, but are urging residents to call them with any information. Their number is 203-977-4444.
