Supermarket employee accused of exposing himself to shoppers

A grocery store employee is facing charges after police say he exposed himself to two shoppers last month.

Police say Santiago Lara, 19, was caught on surveillance video exposing himself to two female customers on the same day at Palmer's Market on Heights Road. He then left the supermarket and tried to follow one of the women as she was leaving. The woman reported Lara to store management, who then called the police.

Palmer's Market management says Lara no longer works at the grocery store. To watch extended footage from Darien, click on News 12 Extra on Optimum TV channel 612.
