Easton residents debating cell phone tower

Easton residents will have a chance tonight to voice their opinion on a proposal to build a new cell phone tower.

The Planning and Zoning Commission is holding a public meeting on the issue at Helen Keller Middle School.

The proposed 130-foot tower would go up behind the town's animal shelter, not too far from Samuel Staples Elementary School.

The state would also have to sign off on the plan.
