Greenwich Fire Department temporarily moves its headquarters
Firefighters at the Central Fire House in Greenwich headed to two temporary facilities today.
Officials say staff and equipment from the firehouse will be split between a building on Horseneck Lane and another one in Cos Cob.
Staff are leaving the firehouse facility so it can be torn down and rebuilt.
Officials say the Central Fire House is nearly 70 years old, and firefighters say it no longer meets code.
