Westport bus drivers, company reach contract agreement

Westport school board members say a contract agreement has been reached between the bus drivers' union and the bus company.

The contract follows a period of tense negotiations during which the two sides needed a 'cooling off' period and the help of a federal mediator to assist.

Details on the new contract have not been released.
