Bridgeport High School students denied entry to SAT

Officials say a group of Bridgeport High School students were turned away from taking the SAT college entrance test today due to lack of a valid school ID.Some students said that the school didn't provide new IDs that year. Another student said her school's ID printer wasn't working.A spokesman for Paul Vallas, Bridgeport Public Schools' superintendent, says that all students enrolled in school are given valid identification, but the district is investigating the matter and ensuring that all of the students turned away will have IDs for the next test. The district also plans to pay for students who were turned away to retake the test.
