Norwalk students learn about becoming firefighters

Norwalk's fire department partnered with Briggs High School to teach nearly 20 students about becoming a firefighter.

Fire officials say the program exposes kids to the career of a firefighter.

The program aims to help build enthusiasm and interest in being a firefighter.

Organizers say they hope the fire academy program continues to grow and expand to other Norwalk high schools.
