Car crashes into excavator on Route 15
The Department of Transportation says an early morning accident involving a car and an excavator on the Merritt Parkway in New Canaan has been cleared.
Officials say the accident happened around 3 a.m. in a construction zone on the northbound side of the parkway.
 No injuries have been reported.
