What's Ailing You: Pinched sciatic nerves

This week's "What's Ailing You" looks at back pain caused by a pinched sciatic nerve.
The shooting pain that stems from the back and extends down the sciatic nerve in the leg can be debilitating.
Symptoms of a pinched sciatic nerve can range from sharp, burning pain to dull aches, according to doctors.
The right stretching can help alleviate pinched nerves stemming from herniated discs, says Stosh Rutkowski of Performance Physical Therapy in Westport.
He also recommends staying away from strenuous movements that can aggravate the problem.
