State officials warn of turtles crossing the road

State officials are warning people to watch out for turtles crossing the road.
 
The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says female turtles are on the move in search of sites to lay their eggs.
 
Officials say it is important not to pick up a turtle to try to move it, and if you find a turtle laying eggs, just let it be.
