Police: Burglar targeted Milford home
A Milford resident awoke early Wednesday morning to the sounds of a burglar inside his home on Calf Pen Lane, police say. The victim found a man inside the house and tried to restrain him, police say.

A Milford resident awoke early Wednesday morning to the sounds of a burglar inside his home on Calf Pen Lane, police say.
The victim found a man inside the house and tried to restrain him, police say. The suspect reportedly brandished a knife before escaping.
Police say they're looking for a white, thin male suspect between 20 and 30 years old and about 5 feet 6 inches tall.
Neighbors say the burglary attempt is not characteristic of the neighborhood.
Police are asking residents to keep their doors and windows locked.
