State troopers in Bridgeport say a vehicle was fired upon early Monday morning on I-95.
The incident occurred on the southbound side of the interstate near exit 27A at around 2 a.m. Troopers say a gunshot shattered the rear window of a Ford Expedition.
The driver reportedly told police that a gray car was following him, and got off the highway after the shooting.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call state police.
