Police: Milford school threat not credible

Police say a threat made against West Shore Middle School in Milford Wednesday morning is not credible.

Officials had closed the school for the day as a precaution. It will reopen Thursday.

Police say the threat was directed toward the school from the social media platform Instagram, but that they don't believe it came from anyone local.

Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Feser says the last day of school will move back a day to make up for the lost time.

Anyone with information on the threat is asked to call police.
