Police: Shots fired in Norwalk

Norwalk police are investigating after they say multiple shots were fired in the area of Woodward Avenue and Sheridan Street.

Police say no one was hit by a bullet when the shots were fired at around 9:30 p.m. Friday. However, they say one woman was injured when she was cut by shattered automobile glass.

The woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 203-854-3111.
