Surveillance video has captured footage of a gunman opening fire in the parking lot of the Green Homes housing complex in Bridgeport on Monday morning.
In the video, the suspect appears to calmly walk in the parking lot with his hands in his pocket. He then quickly draws a gun and fires multiple shots into a car before fleeing.
Police say two rounds entered a car and struck a baby seat, just moments after a mother had removed the child. No injuries were reported.
Residents in the complex say they were shocked by the footage, and are now fearing for their safety.
Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call Bridgeport police.
