Stamford YMCA janitor allegedly touched boy inappropriately

A janitor at the Stamford YMCA is reportedly facing charges today for allegedly inappropriately touching a 15-year-old boy in the locker room.

The Advocate newspaper reports that 54-year-old Bara Mbengue was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and felony risk of injury to a child over the weekend.

Police tell the paper that the teen had been swimming with two friends in the Y's pool in the afternoon, before the three went into the locker room where Mbengue was cleaning up.

They say Mbengue then spoke to the boys and allegedly reached over and touched the boy's genitals over his swimsuit.
