Road rage incident leads to stabbing and shooting in Orange

A truck driver slashed another motorist's face with a knife, prompting the latter to retaliate with gunfire, according to state police.
Officials say the road rage incident occurred on I-95 in Orange near Exit 41 at around 9 p.m. Thursday.
Police say the two men were heading northbound on the highway. After the driver of a passenger car stopped at a light at Exit 41, the tractor-trailer driver allegedly pulled over to the shoulder, ran up to the window and slashed the man in the face.
The victim retaliated by shooting the truck driver several times, according to investigators.

Detectives say charges will be determined pending the results of the investigation.
