Police: Bridgeport man broke into dozens of cars across multiple towns

A Bridgeport man is facing charges after Milford and Shelton police say he broke into dozens of cars across southwestern Connecticut.



Police say 48-year-old Jimmie Bennet broke into multiple cars and stole items from places like hotels and fitness centers.



Officials say police found nearly $200,000 in stolen merchandise in a storage locker that Bennet rented.
