State police offer summer camp to teens

State police invited high school students to summer camp at police academy this year.

During "Youth Week," 25 teenagers take part in a weeklong program on the training process that produces state troopers.

This week, the state trooper cadets learned how to investigate a drunken driving crash. They also learned how to run a DUI checkpoint.

Some of the teens at the camp plan to pursue careers in law enforcement in the future.
