State police offer summer camp to teens

State police invited high school students to summer camp at police academy this year. During "Youth Week," 25 teenagers take part in a weeklong program on the training process that produces state troopers.

State police offer summer camp to teens
State police invited high school students to summer camp at police academy this year.
During "Youth Week," 25 teenagers take part in a weeklong program on the training process that produces state troopers.
This week, the state trooper cadets learned how to investigate a drunken driving crash. They also learned how to run a DUI checkpoint.
Some of the teens at the camp plan to pursue careers in law enforcement in the future.
