Federal health officials say the spread of Lyme disease has grown dramatically.

A new CDC report finds the number of regions where residents are more at risk for catching the disease has doubled in the past decade.

Connecticut has been "high risk" for decades since it was first identified in the state in 1975.

But now, high risk areas also include nearly all of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and more than half of Maine and Vermont.
