A Bridgeport teen is in critical condition this morning after police say he was hit by a car.
It happened Saturday night in New Haven.
Police say the 17-year-old was crossing Whalley Avenue when he was hit by a white Mitsubishi Eclipse.
They say the driver of the car did not stop after hitting the teen.
Police are searching for the car and driver, and are asking auto-body shops to be on the lookout for front end damage as well.
