Westport family meets President Obama during NYC trip

A Westport family is in shock Monday after a surprising run-in with the president in New York City.
The Hill family was spending the day sightseeing in Central Park this past Saturday, the same place where the president and his two daughters were enjoying the day.
Maddie Hill, the oldest of three children, says that her three cousins from North Carolina are visiting for a week. As a treat, her parents brought them all to New York City over the weekend.
"I see these vans with guys in it all armored up," Hill says. "There were a lot of people behind gates, they blocked it off."
Stopping to make small talk, the family says that it was a shot in the dark meeting the president himself.
"When I'm older I'll tell my friends that, I'll tell my kids that. I think it's something I'll really remember," says Hill.
