Best friends reach graduation

A pair of high school best friends with a special bond are set to go their separate ways after graduation.
Rory Murphy has a genetic condition called Fragile X Syndrome. Carter Vail was captain of the football team at Wilton High School. The two say they have been best friends since sixth grade.
They met at lunch and bonded over their mutual love of basketball, playing every day at recess, and eventually Murphy earned the nickname "Hoops Man."
Vail says Murphy has broadened his perspective.
"He's completely changed the way I look at pretty much everything," Vail says of Murphy. "He's made me more accepting of people, definitely. I think he makes everyone that he knows friendlier."
The teens say that while they'll go their seperate ways at the end of the summer, they plan to reunite during winter break for some more basketball.
