Gov. Malloy endorses Mayor Finch for another term

Gov. Dannel Malloy is endorsing Democrat Bill Finch in his bid for another term as Bridgeport's mayor.

Malloy came to Park City Tuesday to show his support for the incumbent mayor.

Malloy says he has worked with Finch on projects like job creation, education issues and the future construction of a new train station in the city. He says Bridgeport needs to keep moving forward, and that Finch is the man for the job.

Former mayor Joe Ganim, Charlie Coviello, Howard Gardner and Mary Jane Foster are also vying for the Democratic nomination in the primary.
