An 85-year-old Stamford man is facing charges after police say he struck his wife in the head with an ax and fractured her skull.
Police say Selvin Hazel got angry Saturday night when he suspected his 46-year-old wife of cheating.
They say he used an ax to cut the woman's head, reportedly saying he was going to "blood her up."
Officials say Hazel is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.
