Farmers market in Norwalk offers fresh produce
Food vendors gathered on Park Street Saturday for the weekly farmers market at the First Congregational Church in Norwalk.
Organizers say the market is unique because it allows customers to use their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits, also known as SNAP.
Church officials say they make a matching contribution to customers by doubling the amount of money they spend at the market.
The market is held outside the Church every Saturday through October.
