Fairfield business owners demonstrate the art of glassblowing

Local artists Dylan Cotton and Christopher DeMott bring a combined 40 years of glassblowing experience to southwestern Connecticut, and they want to share their experience with the public.

Cotton says the Hot Spot Glass Studio in Fairfield brings a hands-on approach to the art of glass making.

He says he has dedicated himself to the proliferation and practice of his favorite medium, glassblowing.

Cotton says the studio is offering discounts off lessons on Groupon.

The Hot Spot Glass Studio is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and on Sunday 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
