A Westport woman accused of leaving her infant alone in a car at Whole Foods earlier this month appeared before a judge today.
Police say 30-year-old Milan Kunajukr left her child in an unlocked, running car while she went inside Whole Foods at 399 Post Road West on Aug. 1.
Her lawyer says the charges are overblown.
News 12 Connecticut is told the case against Kunajukr was continued until Sept. 2 so that the Department of Children and Families can complete its investigation.
