Bridgeport councilwoman seek answers about mass shooting
A Bridgeport councilwoman is demanding answers from police about a deadly mass shooting that occurred at the Trumbull Gardens community two months ago.
Officials said nine people were shot and one was killed when at least two gunmen opened fire on a group of people in a parking lot.
Councilwoman Mary McBride-Lee says no arrests have been made and that police have not been updating the public with regular updates about their investigation.
Police say they have four full-time detectives working on the case. They told News 12 that they have been working with outside agencies from several jurisdictions to solve the case.
They say they often can't reveal details to protect the identities of key witnesses.
