Video shows attack on teen at bus station

Police are investigating a violent encounter at a bus station that was captured on camera in Bridgeport.

Authorities say that a fight broke out between three women at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the bus station on John Street.

Witnesses say two women started attacking a 14-year-old girl. A video taken by a witness appears to show one woman kicking the girl repeatedly.

The video also shows a woman in a red dress appearing to pull the same girl to the ground.

Witnesses say a car then pulled up to the station and a man inside pulled out a handgun. Police say there were no reports of any shots fired or serious injuries.

Officials say they arrived at the bus station after a call came in reporting a fight, but when they arrived, many of the people involved had left. They are asking anybody who may have witnessed the incident to call police.
