Darien police say a Stamford man is facing charges for allegedly breaking into cars and attempting to steal a vehicle. Police say 48-year-old Joel MacKinnon attempted to steal a Ford pick-up truck

Stamford man accused in Darien car break-ins
Darien police say a Stamford man is facing charges for allegedly breaking into cars and attempting to steal a vehicle.
Police say 48-year-old Joel MacKinnon attempted to steal a Ford pick-up truck from a driveway and ended up blocking Patton Drive.
Police say MacKinnon took off, but they later found him at the Noroton Heights train station.
Police say MacKinnon had several items connected to recent burglaries of unlocked cars in the area.
